I am attempting to create a new project but get can not write to IndexController.php in the project folder it creates.

Any ideas?

Could you try with the lastest devtools please?

I reinstalled and it worked. The only other issue or question I have now is that can I use the devtools model feature with mongo?

It does not support Mongo, it only works with the ODM, but you can easily replace the generated models to extend Phalcon\Mvc\Collection instead of Phalcon\Mvc\Model
