Phalcon - Find CLOB from PDO/Oracle

Hi.. Please someone... I am struggling with this problem for a while now..

Is like this..

1) I have a CLOB field in my oracle database.

2) I am using the follwing connection

//Returning DB Class Adapter //PDO::ATTR_STRINGIFY_FETCHES => true, Is to return the correct CLOB content instead resource id #

I am using PDO::ATTR_STRINGIFY_FETCHES => true, because I want to get CLOB field as string and not as resource #id

3) I use a simple Log::Find($conditions, "bind"=> $params) like I use in every other place in my code;

4) It just dies like

The page 10.14.1.194 isn't working No data sent by 10.14.1.194 ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Does anyone have the same problem ? or Had the same problem? Many thanks Cheers

I did some testes and I think it is related with the size or quantity of rows..

Because I deleted everything from my database and started fresh. with one record it returns CLOB fields fine.

with two or more records it crashes..

It is at minimum strange behavior. =(

So ok .. I narrow down to a server problem. I have to servers, one windows other linux. The linux one is just dying. Must be a memory issue or something.

As soon I find out a solution I will try answer it here..

Hi.. so.. after a lot of work..

I didn't find the problem, but a kind of find a half solution that allows apache2 execute "normally" the request. I have installed php-xcache module on linux. And somehow it started to work.. I think it can be a memory issue.

You have two servers, which role do they play in your use case?

Post your web server (apache) configuration, which SAPI interface are you running?

Xcache is not a solution, more like a workaround for this case.

When things are unstable like that, you really have to investigate and NOT to go into production, otherwise you may regret it.

Hello.. So yes.. it is a workaround and not a good one.. It only works sometimes and I didn't find the solution yet.

The two servers isn't together.. it's like I have two separated servers .. two environments to test. One linux VM and other Windows host Windows host has xampp and php5.6 Linux VM has apache2.4 with php5.5.9

They work fine.. until I have to select some CLOB fields from Oracle database. Because xampp server brings it just fine. And Linux one don't. I tried to build one server from scratch again.. The first one have oracle 10.2 The seconde have one oracle 11.2 UbuntuServer 14.02

The same problem has occurred

The apache2 server keeps throwing this "exit signal Segmentation fault (11)"

Hi.. with some help I discovered what was the issue...

It was pdo_oci.so. I went to pecl get their last version. But there is a giant comment warning users about that problem, that they aren't maintaining it.

So I went to php.net download php source code, and looked into ext folder There is loads of libs, including pdo_oci to my version of php.

I compiled it and tried again. It worked =) Problem solved.
