Markdown interpreter in Zephir: good idea?

I was wondering if anybody thought that creating a Markdown-to-HTML interpreter in Zephir would be a good idea? Could be my first open source project.

Hi Simon,
There is an extension for Markdown https://pecl.php.net/package/markdown
Markdown is standarized and lots of documents are written with Markdown, so you can't do something new, but you will learn Zephir :)
