Yes. If you go to the Phalcon homepage and scroll wayyy down to the bottom, you'll see a button leading to that page. It's not very obvious that they even started a raising funds, but it's legit.

imo for more donations it would be better to make an official announcement on blog, forum, twitter, etc.
I agree 100%! I didn't even know fund raising was going on until I saw someone mention it in another thread and went looking for it.
Yes, this is a real fund, we started it a couple of days ago, we're preparing a post in the forum to explain the goals of the funding, thanks for sharing link
@phalcon, quite worrying, it seems that the community has lost interest in donating or campaign is not large enough visible. In recent days there has been no donation.

we can get much more traffic "for donation" via facebook, twitter etc. if we use pingbacks to blog posts and official announcements on phalcon homepage.
