What's "clean pass" in docs

The empty index action gives the clean pass to a view with the form definition (app/views/signup/index.phtml): https://docs.phalcon.io/en/latest/reference/tutorial.html

What do you mean by "gives the clean pass"?

Nothing needs to be done to get the signup page (clean approach)
